It’s been another exciting week for the Pokémon series, with the reveal of new information on Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. We’ve seen more new ‘mon, found out a bit more about the new Paldea region, and discovered that you can tackle gyms in any order.
Before this new adventure launches later this year, Game Freak and The Pokémon Company will host another limited-time distribution event on its original Switch outing. pokemon sword and shield. This is slightly different from the recent ones.
As Serebii.net highlights, trainers will be able to unlock Ash’s entire team, made up of Dracovish, Dragonite, Gengar, Sirfetch’d, and Lucario. With codes to distribute from August 12.
Although this event is scheduled for Japan, Serebii.net webmaster Joe Merrick has confirmed that the codes will work outside of Japan. So we shouldn’t have a problem redeeming them here in the west. Here’s the schedule (note: each one is level 80):
Drakovish – August 12
Dragonite – August 26
Gengar – September 2
Sirfetch’d – September 9
Lucario – September 16
