Overwatch 2 is on the way, bringing new heroes, maps, and everything else you love to its futuristic world. The upcoming PvE story and Hero Missions introductions are an added point of excitement for many in the community who have been waiting years for sustainable updates to the first game. Before the release of PvP in October, you can purchase an item pack with various gifts. This is what you get with the Overwatch 2: Watchpoint Pack.

What’s in Overwatch 2: Watchpoint Pack?
Overwatch 2: Watchpoint Pack is a bundle of items that you can purchase on Battle.net, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, or Xbox for $39.99 USD. While the bundle gave access to the beta before launch, there are also items that come with the full release of Overwatch 2.
If you don’t already have it, this will give you the Legendary Edition of the first game. You might scoff at this if you already own the game, but this edition gives you ten skins that are exclusive to this version of the game.
Now for the real reasons to buy the Watchpoint Pack. If you buy it, you will have access to the first Overwatch 2 Battle Pass, which will be released on the same day as PvP, on October 4. You won’t have to pay extra to start unlocking the exclusive cosmetics here and you’ll receive Kiriko automatically when you start playing instead of having to reach level 55.
You’ll also receive 2,000 Overwatch Virtual Coins, which will be the next in-game currency that can be spent in the store on new cosmetics or to level up your Battle Pass right away.
Finally, a diamond-shaped Overwatch logo profile icon and two Legendary skins will be added to your account. The two skins will be Space Raiders Cassidy and Soldier 76.
Is the Watchpoint package worth it?
It’s up to you whether or not you think the Watchpoint Pack is worth $40. Most people interested in this will already have the first Overwatch, so that’s a pretty significant bump not to be worth it. The legendary skins and currency are a decent purchase though, although the dollar amount is a bit high for what you get. If you want guaranteed access to the beta, again, that’s a nice bonus, but that price is high.
