People in the rap game often branch out into different things, and kanye-west is not an exception. The 45-year-old has, at one point or another, been involved in fashion and even tried his hand at politics in 2020. That campaign did not result in success for Mr. West, or Ye, as he prefers to be. known, probably loved, but the employer apparently has no interest in letting the loss remain.
Ye weighs the possibility of re-entering politics in a new interview with Good morning america. In a wide-ranging conversation with the outlet, he says that more of him on the campaign trail is “absolutely” something that will happen, but he can’t say when exactly that will be.
Elsewhere in the article, West talks about his recently broken partnership with Gap, saying he plans to open his own chain of stores and help his daughter with her basketball skills. West also adds that she feels misunderstood because of his strong religious beliefs, and that the key to her success has been to believe without being overwhelmingly devout or fearful of a higher power.
“When you remove the love and fear of God, you open up the love and fear of everything else. And it’s easier to have sheep when people don’t have God. It is easier to control people if people are not controlled by God. Because then they can be controlled by how many likes they have or what happens on TikTok or how much money or perception people have.”
In the 2020 United States presidential election, West came in seventh place with about 70,000 votes. He only beat Don Blankenship of the Constitution Party, who got about 60,000 votes. In addition to fashion and acting, West also runs a private school in California, has dabbled in architecture, has made cameo appearances in various media projects, directed a short film, donated money to various causes, and has said he wants to produce the first flying plane car. I don’t want to be a discouraging voice, but that last one probably won’t be done any time soon.
