News good plan Apple: Amazon is finally lowering the price of Airpods 3!

No active noise reduction and therefore no small tips to plug the ear. Many will be satisfied with this design for whom the in-ear headphones are very unpleasant. The sound quality is still improved compared to the Airpods 2 especially with much deeper bass. They go from 199€ to 180€, currently on Amazon.

In addition to the look, it borrows several features present on the Pro. There is the Adaptive EQ, which adapts to the shape of the ears and the position of the headphones to slightly modify the sound accordingly. It’s the same water and sweat resistance on both models, and the same Magsafe charging case, Apple’s wireless technology added to magnets to facilitate attachment and optimize charging.

The battery is downright superior to the more expensive Airpods Pro: 6 hours of listening time on a single charge compared to 4.5 hours, reduced to 30 hours with the charging case compared to only 24 hours for the Pro. You also get an hour of musical enjoyment with just 5 minutes of plugging in.

Also making its debut is the new Spatial Audio, which gives 360° sound and can follow head movements while keeping the instruments in the same places. However, few tracks are currently compatible.

Finally the Airpods 3 also switch to shorter rods with pressure sensors to control their music, abandoning the much less comfortable tapping against the ear.

A whole Apple ecosystem around these Airpods

Buying Airpods means immersing yourself in long listening sessions but also in a very well-established ecosystem.

When you open the cover, a message opens instantly on your iPhone and offers you to pair it. As long as you have an iPad or a Mac, jumping from device to device is a snap.

The Find My feature tracks your lost Airpods around you and sends you an alert when they wander off. Audio Sharing lets you connect 2 pairs to a single iPhone to listen together, each at their own volume.

It’s not often you see discounts on products as popular as Airpods. They tend to wait a year before losing a few euros but Amazon decides otherwise and reduces the Airpods 3 from 199€ to 180€.
