Legendary music company Arturia has released the MiniFreak V: a perfect emulation of their MiniFreak hybrid polysynth.
The software and hardware worlds collide with Arturia’s MiniFreak now that they’ve released the MiniFreak V. It’s a plugin version of the hardware synth that’s a similar emulation of the recent release and owners of a registered MiniFreak will get it for free. .
With the hardware launching in 2022, MiniFreak is intended for those who wanted hyper-flexibility, both in polyphony and synth engine, and DAW connection. A year later they realized how brilliant it would be to have a software emulation of this product. Maybe it’s your favorite synthesizer and you want to use it on a plane trip? (Now that we’re traveling again!)
With 250 patches, the MiniFreak V beautifully weaves analog filters with digital voices, endless sequences, and tons of modulation variation. While mapping to any controller is easier than ever, the MiniFreak hardware mirrors the controls perfectly.
The MiniFreak V is one of those synths that does everything, and everything well. From big Hoover polysynths to deep basses, leads and pads, it’s a synth that has no limitations. The MiniFreak hardware was designed with the help of legendary designer Alex Hartman, who we interviewed and you can check it out here.
It’s currently on an introductory sale of US$99 compared to the standard price of US$199. Get in quick, this sells out February 3, 2023. Learn more at Arturia.com.
