Boruto: When will the timeskip happen?

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is the sequel to Masashi Kishimoto’s magnum opus naruto and follows the story of Boruto Uzumaki, the son of the Seventh Hokage of Konohagakure, Naruto Uzumaki. The series is set in a peaceful era where wars no longer exist and the world is much better than before, all thanks to Naruto Uzumaki. Although peace exists in all the major shinobi villages, the story opens on a rather somber note, where Konohagakure appears to have been completely destroyed and two characters, namely Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki, find themselves in the middle of it all.

Boruto Uzumaki goes on to say that the age of shinobi is over and from the looks of it, Kawaki has a lot to do with it. However, fans don’t know the exact events because the story quickly goes back four years in time to the beginning of Boruto Uzumaki’s journey as a ninja. With that, it was clearly established that there would certainly be a time jump in borutohowever, the question remains, when boruto enter your time jump?

When will Boruto enter his timeskip?

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations it certainly won’t be as long a manga series as its predecessor, naruto, which means that events like entering the timeskip are likely to happen sooner rather than later. Having already reached almost 70 chapters, boruto it’s very possible that it’s half or more done, especially since the author, Ikemoto, has previously mentioned that he intends to finish the round at around 20 volumes. Given that Boruto is pretty close to the end of him, it’s no surprise that the manga is pretty close to entering his timeskip.

At the same time, the ongoing events in history also strongly indicate that boruto you’re approaching your timeskip. With Isshiki Otsutsuki now dead, all focus has already turned to Kawaki, who has inherited his real powers through weaponized Karma reintegrated into his body by none other than Amado. Meanwhile, Boruto Uzumaki has already become 100% Otsutsukified, which means that he already has Momoshiki’s power in his body. These are undoubtedly big developments for two of the most important characters in the series and are the biggest indication that the time jump is quite close.

At the same time, of boruto The previous chapter also gave fans a decent look at the other members of Team 7 and even Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki, all of whom have a personal need to get stronger so they can fight the Otsutsuki. With Boruto and Kawaki already moving forward, the likes of Sarada and Mitsuki must catch up, while Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha must find ways to become relevant in terms of fighting once again. All of this can be perfectly addressed with a timeskip built into the story sooner rather than later. With all that said, it seems as if of boruto timeskip is almost on the fans and could be perfectly integrated into the story after the Code Arc.

What does the time jump mean for the story

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations He’ll probably enter his time skip pretty soon and that certainly means great things for the overall plot of the story. On the one hand, fans will see Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki train hard to get to the level of Code, who is currently the strongest character in the entire story. As it is, they stand absolutely no chance against the monster that they are and would need the guidance of someone strong, preferably someone like Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, or even Kashin Koji to put them on the same level as Code.

At the same time, the timeskip would pave the way for Sarada Uchiha to awaken new powers, such as her Mangekyo Sharingan. Given that Sarada rarely gets any time in the episodes, it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that her biggest boosts can come off screen, which, while incredibly sad, is the truth of the matter. In addition to Sarada becoming more powerful, Mitsuki could also gain tremendous power. With Orochimaru’s help, fans were able to see him become much stronger and catch up with Boruto and Kawaki.

Additionally, the timeskip could also mean big things for both Naruto and Sasuke, as the two certainly need to get stronger to live up to people’s expectations and the titles they both hold. Most importantly, the time jump would mean that Boruto would start to get closer to the prologue that fans want to see, where both Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki get into a fight with each other in the middle of a destroyed Konohagakure. Fans have been on the edge of their seats to learn the full truth of the situation and only a time jump can answer all the questions related to the tragedy that seems to have befallen Konohagakure in the future.
