Game News Breath of the Wild 2: the real name of the next Zelda could be revealed soon!
In terms of rumors, the hypothesis of the broadcast of a new Nintendo Direct in the coming days has logically awakened the expectations of fans. And among them, the names of Metroid Prime and Zelda come back to the fore. So what are Nintendo’s most likely announcements?
Behind the scenes of the next Nintendo Direct
Last week, we announced the high probability that a new Nintendo Direct will be organized in September. The information, which is still to be taken with a grain of salt because it has not been officially confirmed, came from journalist Jeff Grub, reputed to be one of the best-informed people in the business. And according to his predictions, this Nintendo Direct could very well come to stall the week of September 12.
While waiting for official confirmation from Nintendo, rumors continue to circulate and the insider is now reporting new rumors regarding certain information that could be revealed during this famous Nintendo Direct. Starting with the real name of the next Zelda opus, which may no longer be called The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. And if Nintendo has maintained the mystery for so long about this title, it may be because it contains a heavy secret…
I don’t know what Nintendo’s exact plans are, but I’ve been hinted that we’ll probably get the Breath of the Wild 2 name and also get the HD version ports of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. – Jeff Grub
This Direct should therefore also be an opportunity for Nintendo to discuss HD reissues of two other episodes of The Legend of Zelda saga : The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

But the Zelda series isn’t the only one players are hoping for announcements during the next Nintendo Direct. And the question of Metroid could also come back to the forefront through a remaster of the first installment of the Metroid Prime series which should eventually come to fruition by the end of the year !

If all this is confirmed, the Nintendo Switch catalog should quickly be enriched with several great classics that we can’t wait to rediscover. Without forgetting the much appreciated It Takes Two which should be talked about again during this next Nintendo Direct on the occasion of its probable release on Switch!
