Chrissy Teigen and her husband, John LegendThey are expecting a baby after the American model announced the news on social networks.
Teigen shared a photo of herself and her baby bump on Instagram, where she had to delay announcing her pregnancy because she wanted to make sure this child was healthy due to a previous pregnancy loss in 2020. Teigen also said she feels “hopeful.” . and amazing” and that “joy has filled her home and her heart” once again.
“The last few years have been a turmoil of emotions, to say the least, but joy has once again filled our home and our hearts. A billion shots later (most recently to the leg, as you can see!) we’ve got another one on the way. On every date I’ve told myself, “Okay, if it’s healthy I’ll announce it today,” but then I breathe a sigh of relief at the sound of a heartbeat and decide I’m still too nervous. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of a date with more excitement than nerves, but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I feel hopeful and wonderful. Ok, ugh, it’s been really hard to keep this up for so long!”
In 2020, the couple mourned the loss of their son. According to People magazine, her son was bleeding and “couldn’t be stopped.” Doctors tried to save the child through blood transfusions, but it was not enough. Teigen has also expressed her feelings about infertility through People and doesn’t feel alone when she publicly shares her difficult journey.
American singer John Legend married Teigen in September 2013 and they have been together ever since. The couple currently have two children named Luna Simone (4 years old) and Miles Theodore (2 years old). Hopefully this happy family will have a new member entering their home and hearts.
