The biggest question on the minds of most DC fans right now is who will replace Ezra Miller as the flash moving forward after Warner Bros announced that the actor will not reprise his role after the solo film. And while The CW’s Flash Grant Gustin was suggested to take on the role, fans thought it would be funny if Miller’s replacement was Dwayne Johnson.
The suggestion was made by Reddit user u/Electronic_Lab5486 on the r/DC_Cinematic subreddit, as they shared a fake Hollywood Reporter tweet announcing that Johnson would be taking on the role of the scarlet speedster.
Fans found the idea amusing, considering Johnson’s Flash will be a tall, muscular superhero, not a speedy runner.

You may be wondering, “how is Dwayne Johnson a better fit to play the Flash?” Apparently, Reddit user u/thomascgalvin pointed to an old movie Johnson starred in in 2010 titled Faster, with the motto “slow justice is not justice”. Another Reddit user, u/Lakers_Forever24, listed other superhero roles Johnson has played/lined up for him. He is quite qualified.

However, not everyone is convinced that Johnson is “perfect” for the role. And that’s only fair since Johnson is already in the DCEU as another superhero. So they’ve decided to come up with their own suggestions…more ridiculous than Johnson’s.

While Johnson is highly unlikely to take on the role of the Flash after Miller, the former pro wrestler will make his DCEU debut in the film. black adam. The film is based on the DC antihero and Shazam’s sworn nemesis.
black adam is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 21, 2022.
