We’ve all been waiting and waiting Deadpool 3 to come to fruition.
After hinting that production and filming would begin in the summer of 2022 (the time we’re in right now!) last year, it looks like Ryan Reynolds and company are getting down to business and making the third movie. a long-awaited reality.
Of course, with all that waiting coming to an end, it’s time for more banter. Since a photo of Reynolds working with his personal trainer Dan Saladino was posted with the caption “and so it begins” showing Reynolds aiming to be his best superhero again, we needed his alter ego to step in, in the best possible way.
No more waiting; Just kidding about weighting shakes!
the dead pool The official Twitter account wasted no time mocking the man who plays the main character.
The joke plays with multiple dead pool and Reynolds jokes, referencing both the film’s humor and some social media from the filming of the second film.
Remember that in the original dead poolwhen Reynolds’ Wade Wilson is being recruited for the show that ultimately ends with him gaining his superpowers that lead to him becoming Deadpool, he makes a Shake Weight joke.
When the recruiter makes his introduction, saying, “Mr. Wilson, was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. What if I told you that we can heal you and give you abilities most men only dream of?
To which Wilson replies, “Well, I’d say you sound like an infomercial, but not a good one like Slapchop, plus Shake Weighty.”
Later, during the filming of Deadpool 2when Josh Brolin (who plays Cable) was seen holding a miniature Deadpool doll, Reynolds, invoking his character’s humor, tweeted a Shake Weight joke once again, saying that Brolin likes to call it his “little Shake Weight.” ™”. ”
All this comes from the hand of both dead pool movies making their way to streaming on Disney Plus, which, along with Loganthey are the first R-rated movies to hit the Mouse House streaming network.
And calmly, Reynolds, seamlessly jumping back and forth between being a promotional master himself and his alter ego Deadpool, also tweeted about the movies coming to Disney Plus as the first R-rated movies there.
For those somehow unfamiliar with Shake Weight, and its glorious marketing campaigns and infomercials, which spawn jokes around the world (including a hysterical South Park episode), watch this video below and try not to laugh or make jokes.
There is currently no release date or window for Deadpool 3and considering that production has just started, we probably won’t be aware of one for a while.
