Destiny 2’s latest hotfix is here, bringing some changes to the Crucible, King’s Fall Raid, and a few other gameplay tweaks as well.
The new update makes a couple of changes to the Crucible. Adjusted map frequency weighting for Disjunction and Cathedral of Dusk. Although the patch notes don’t specify how, anecdotally, both were very common. Also fixed an issue that resulted in players being unable to progress the Weekly Crucible Challenge in Crucible Labs.
King’s Fall Raid also had some fixes, such as an issue where Daughters of Oryx took extra damage from rocket launchers and other sources, which has now been fixed. Also fixed an issue where players could survive certain wipe mechanics in the raid, as well as an issue causing players to occasionally spawn behind doors during the Warpriest encounter.
In terms of gameplay and investment fixes, fixed an issue where the Enhanced Sword Scavenger Season Mod and Leg Armor Sword Scavenger Mod would stack, and it is no longer possible to equip both mods simultaneously. Machine Gun Scavenger regular and artifact mods had the same issue, which was also fixed.
The Touch of Malice blight projectile had an issue that meant it could affect allies, blinding them and causing them to take more damage from Pain Weapons, but this is now fixed. Also fixed an issue that meant the final round of Touch of Malice would deal double damage when hitting a Divinity field.
One of the in-game abilities, Spark of Feedback Fragment, was causing abilities, buffs, and debuffs to stop working in rare situations, but this has also been fixed.
Bungie also fixed a case where a crash could occur at startup on PS4 if a user owned a large number of platform rights. The 120Hz refresh rate option was also missing in some cases on PS5 and Xbox Series X, which has also been fixed. And also removed embedded links in Korean purchase dialogs that don’t work on Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
Xur will be available to purchase one more from September 23 to 27, which you can get from Agent of the Nine. And GameSpot has all the details you need on the rewards you can get from Trials of Osiris.
