Game News Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties: One more postponement for the zombie game’s first narrative DLC
This is news that will not delight Dying Light 2 players who are impatiently awaiting the first DLC titled Bloody Ties. And yes… Techland has just announced a new postponement.
Never two without three !
Released at the beginning of the year, in February 2022, Dying Light 2: Stay Human is selling like hot cakes and much faster than the first episode. Faced with such success, Techland intends to maintain an ambitious course and guarantees a follow-up of the game over 5 years. This is why the Polish studio is expanding its game over the weeks with many free DLCs, the addition of a New Game + mode and even announces the next release of a first narrative DLC called “Bloody Ties”.
Initially planned last June, the new narrative arc finally lets the summer holidays pass by postponing its release until the start of the school year before being illustrated by means of a first trailer at Gamescom 2022 (visible above). While everyone is waiting for a release date in September, the end of said trailer then reveals a completely different date, October 13th. But it was without counting on this famous expression… Never two without three… Indeed, you will have understood it, Bloody Ties is postponed again for the third time in a row.
One more month!
Yesterday, Techland took to the stage through a post on the official Dying Light Twitter account to announce a new release date.
We have made the decision to postpone the launch of Bloody Ties until November 10th, to allow the team extra time to polish and squash bugs.
