The meeting with Gowry
First, you will have to find Gowry. This is located in the…Gowry’s Hut, in Caelid, on the east side. More precisely just under Sellia, the city of witchcraft. (The map above shows you the exact location).

Rewards based on a crucial choice
Now go to the Drainage Channel, to the Sacred Tree of Miquella, and go to where the Ulcerated Tree Spirit is. You will then have the choice between helping Millicent or attacking her. The rewards you will get will be drastically different depending on your choice:
- If you choose to attack Millicent, you will then obtain Millicent’s Prosthesis (increases Dexterity by 5), as well as her weapon which has the particularity of doing more damage the more you chain attacks.
- If you choose to help him, you will then have to kill 4 (difficult) NPCs and you will be rewarded with The Rotten Winged Sword Insignia.
