Speaking to the BBC, Emilia Clarke shared her thoughts on these upcoming plans within the game of Thrones universe, but let it be known that she is ready for other things in her career.

When asked if he would consider doing a spin-off, Clarke shut down the idea by saying “no, I think I’m done.”

This shouldn’t come as too much of a shock to fans, as her character, Daenerys Targaryen, saw a full arc in the original series from her life as a little girl to the end of her character. With this being the case, it would be hard to write a spin-off that included her in the larger story.

Despite his decision to walk away from the franchise, Clarke confirmed that former co-star Kit Harrington is working on creating his own sequel series to the show. This backs up a report from The Hollywood Reporter last week that suggested the series was in the works.

Right now, Clarke is preparing to star Seagull a play directed at the Harold Pinter Theater in London from June 29 to September 10.
