Along with the movies, Mat Whitecross’s The Sound of 007 is also coming to the streaming platform. The documentary explores the six decades of music history in the James Bond franchise. A benefit concert will be held at the Royal Albert Hall on October 4, featuring guest vocalists and five-time Bond composer David Arnold. Prime Video will then stream an exclusive recording of the show.
Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson are currently planning what’s next in the franchise. “The thing is, it’s going to be a couple of years away. And when we cast Bond, it’s going to be a 10-12 year commitment,” Broccoli told Variety. (opens in a new tab).
