Fall Guys will be announcing something big next week and fans are already predicting what it could be.
Fall Guys developer Mediatonic tweeted that it has a “big announcement” in store for next week. The tweet didn’t give any hints as to what’s planned for the colorful battle royale game that is Fall Guys, but you don’t have to wait long to find out. Mediatonic will hold a live stream on Twitch and YouTube on May 16 at 6pm BST / 10am PT / 1pm ET where everything will be revealed.

Following the tweet, fans have been speculating what all the fuss is about. Some think that Fall Guys will transition to the free-to-play model to help the game’s declining player count. “Predicting that it might be free. Hopefully it will attract some people who didn’t want to spend $20 but were interested in the game.” wrote a Twitter user.
Many fans are also predicting that the announcement will involve the rumored Fortnite and Fall Guys crossover event. Last week, a Fortnite leaker revealed that the mystery URLs ‘Epic Fallguys Extension’ and ‘Epic Fallguyz Ektenzion’ had been redirecting visitors to the official Fortnite website, suggesting that Battle heavyweights Royale will go head to head in the near future.
Another popular opinion is that Fall Guys is finally coming to both Switch and Xbox. Twitter user Meyer1128 is particularly interested in seeing the game on Microsoft’s console. tweeting“If it’s not the Xbox release date, I lose it.”
