In case you thought of the do not worry honey the drama wasn’t enough anymore, a new bit of craziness has been added to the mix after all KiKi Layne Scenes from the film were cut.
Spitting, screaming fights and very public fights have made up the majority of the press for Olivia Wilde’s latest movie and it’s only going further south. Despite appearing in promotional material for do not worry honey and being singled out by the director for an immaculate performance, Layne’s scenes have been resigned to the cutting room floor.
Layne is definitely far from satisfied with the whole scenario, as she shared a post on Instagram that is essentially a thinly veiled barb at Wilde. It’s rare to see an actor cut the entire role of himself while he’s still on a movie poster, and she’s left many wondering what the hell happened behind the scenes.
Wilde is being criticized for how she appears to have eliminated the roles of two women of color in the film and increased her own screen time. eternal Star Gemma Chan is also believed to have seen cuts to her character’s on-screen presence, despite also appearing heavily in marketing.
Layne’s career to date has been filled with critically acclaimed films and much acclaim for his performances. After a leading role in If Beale Street Could Talkshe has starred Coming soon 2 America, the old guard, Chip ‘n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers. With do not worry honey being panned by critics, maybe it’s not a bad thing that they don’t associate her anymore.
The 30-year-old actress was absent from the film’s debut at the Venice International Film Festival in early September, which was the first indication that something wasn’t quite right.
As his Instagram post points out, the best part of his experience with the film is meeting his partner Ari’el Stachel. Perhaps the most positive of all do not worry honey The fiasco is that Harry Styles has also been shown to not be an A-list actor either, and saw at least two couples come out of it.
do not worry honey is currently in theaters, grossing $30 million so far in its movie run, as it seems destined to become one of the most riveting behind-the-scenes disasters in movie history.
