The developers of Final Fantasy 14 are hosting a gigantic 14th anniversary stream next month to celebrate the game’s anniversary.
As announced today at Final Fantasy 14 Lodestone (opens in a new tab)the big broadcast will start live at 8 pm PT/11 pm PT.
Perhaps the biggest feature of the show is another live Producer’s Letter, which begins at 9:30 pm PT/12:30 am ET. According to Lodestone (opens in a new tab), this episode of the live show will be reflected in patch 6.2, as well as what to expect from patch 6.25. There will also be a stage-focused segment, with writers Natsuko Ishikawa, Banri Oda, and Daichi Hiroi.
After that, the next big thing on the big stream is a live Q&A, starting the next day at 6am PT/9am ET. During this segment, Final Fantasy 14 director and producer Naoki Yoshida and global community producer Toshio Murouchi (two regular hosts of Letter From the Producer Live) will answer questions live from players.
Perhaps most interesting, however, is a conversation between Yoshida and Final Fantasy 14 series creator and pioneer Hironobi Sakaguchi. The two-hour segment will begin at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. PT. clothing line in the game called SakaGUCCI.
This should be a stream you don’t want to miss, featuring beloved writers like Ishikawa and game development icons like Sakaguchi. The new 14-hour show is actually the eighth time the Final Fantasy 14 developers have put on such a presentation, dating back to the early days of A Realm Reborn.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer recently said there was I still hope Final Fantasy 14 on Xbox consoles.
