Fortnite’s fifth birthday is almost upon us. It’s hard to believe that the battle royale game has taken over the world for just five years, but here we are in 2022 waiting for Fortnite to announce his candidacy for world presidency. We are not sure not to vote for him at this time.
To help players celebrate along with the game, Epic is introducing some special quests and items. It all kicks off on September 23 at 9am ET and it will be a mix of in-game events along with real-life snippets. Outside of the game, Fortography returns to try to get players to share their favorite birthday-themed screenshots on social media.
You will also be able to access the official Fortnite Twitter and Instagram accounts to participate in Fortnite Trivia. It’s more for fun than anything else, but if you’re a die-hard fan then you’ll probably relish the opportunity to flex your niche knowledge.
Within the game, you’ll be happy to know that you’ll be able to find healing birthday cakes and loot-filled birthday presents scattered across the island until September 27. they also appear in the game’s missions. We’re not sure if there will only be XP up for grabs for completing missions, but we’d be surprised if there wasn’t a skin or cosmetic up for grabs as well.
We’re still busy celebrating the arrival of Chapter 3 Season 4, which has brought a plethora of fun things to play with, like the Evochrome weapons, the Herald boss, and the shimmering Chrome Splash item. That’s not to mention the new map, which is a lot of fun and full of Fortnite NPCs to track down.
