To celebrate Friday the 13th, Striking Distance founder and CEO Glen Schofield not only teased that news about The Callisto Protocol is coming next week, but also shared a terrifying close-up of one of the game’s creatures. .
Schofield, who was also the creator of Dead Space, shared on Twitter the news of the game which is set in the PUBG universe and is scheduled for release on PC and consoles in 2022.

The image is an extreme close-up and it’s hard to figure out exactly what it is, but it looks straight out of a nightmare and lends weight to Schofield’s earlier comments of wanting The Callisto Protocol to be “the scariest game on next-gen platforms.” . “
The Callisto Protocol was announced at The Game Awards 2020 and is a single-player, third-person survival horror adventure that appears to take place in 2320 on the Jupiter moon of Callisto.
In the game, players will have to “survive unspeakable horrors while escaping from Black Iron.” [Prison] and uncover the dark secrets of the mysterious United Jupiter Company.”
In February 2021, Striking Distance revealed that it was teaming up with Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and his company Skybound Entertainment to expand The Callisto Protocol’s reach as an IP.
