You can DDT the competition very soon
The multiplayer fighting battle royale Rumbleverse will be released very soon. Iron Galaxy announced today that Rumbleverse It will be released on August 11 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and PC through Epic.
The free-to-play fighting game will launch on the 11th, and a week later the first season of Rumbleverse will boot. According to the Iron Galaxy blog, this will include a Battle Pass with cosmetics to earn along a special path.
Rumbleverse is a Battle Royale style game for 40 players. But instead of guns and shots, Rumbleverse This is a good old fashioned fight. Characters can pick up and use various moves such as punches, kicks, hooks, and giant punches to knock out opponents.
Announced in December during The Game Awards 2021, Rumbleverse it was scheduled to release in February. However, Iron Galaxy delayed the release and has been running tests and early game times. Now, it looks like the fighter is ready to step into the ring.
It’s been hard to miss Rumbleverse, as it has been making the rounds in the social sphere of the fighting game community with each new playtest. And I admit, the concept has me intrigued. Many battle royale games focus on accuracy and shooting skill, but very few have satiated the urge to fight, fight, fight.
There have been several battle royales that have come in and out of the spotlight over the years, but this one at least seems like it’s worth a try. At the low, low price of free, why not?
Rumbleverse comes to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via the Epic Games Store on August 11.
