The yellow stone recently expanded franchise with 1883 and is growing once again, although this time the action in the Dutton family’s past will take place in 1932and will star Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford in her first regular role in a television drama.
News of the casting decision is reported in an article by the hollywood reporter the present day. The series, titled 1932, was ordered straight-to-series in February for Paramount Plus and will open in December at an undetermined date as of the filing. It will follow the family through an era where pandemics, drought, and the end of Prohibition combined with the Great Depression to plague the West. The characters of Mirren and Ford are unknown at this time, and the piece represents another show on creator Taylor Sheridan’s slate.
Apart from 1883, 1932Y yellow stone, Sheridan is also developing a 6666 spin-off about Four Sixes Ranch in Texas, has the drama directed by Billy Bob Thornton earth manas well as an article about one of the first black US Marshals, bass Reeves, in development with David Oyelowo, plus Sylvester Stallone King of Tulsaby Zoe Saldana Lioness, and Jeremy Renner Mayor of Kingstown.
