Microtransactions have become one of the scariest words a gamer can hear. Microtransactions have become more and more common over the years and have become more predatory. Many gamers often worry if a game will have microtransactions. Fortunately, for Harry Potter fans, that won’t be the case with Avalanche’s Hogwarts Legacy.
Chandler Wood, Community Manager for Avalanche, confirmed that there will be no microtransactions in Hogwarts Legacy. Sony’s State of the Game didn’t necessarily suggest there will be microtransactions. But the fact that there are so many materials that players will need, many have assumed the worst and the game will have microtransactions to “help” players gather things much faster.
