Power Armor is one of those things that you may or may not wear as you roam the Appalachian Badlands in Fallout 76. Wearing this heavy armor has many benefits, but there are also some drawbacks. No matter who you are, chances are you have entered one of these suits at some point during the game. Unfortunately, while the game tells you how to get into these suits. They don’t tell you how to get out. This is how you get out of Power Armor in Fallout 76.
How to get in and out of Power Armor
Power Armor is pretty easy to use and the game actually gives you a prompt when you approach a Power Armor suit so you know how to do it. Before donning a Power Armor suit, you’ll need to make sure you have a Fusion Core. Without one, you won’t be able to use the armor at all.
To enter a Power Armor suit, you’ll want to press the X button on PlayStation, the A button on Xbox, and the E key on PC. This will start a short cutscene where the camera goes into a third person point of view as your character puts on the armor. Once you’re in Power Armor, hold down the button you used to enter. This will start a similar cutscene where it shows your character taking off their armor.

These powerful armors increase your damage and energy resistance greatly to help you survive even the Scorchbeast Queen’s most devastating attacks. These armors also prevent you from taking fall damage. If you’re in a third-person point of view, you can even see your character perform a superhero landing by falling from a great height.
