Like all world bosses, the Tower of Fantasy Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon respawns an hour after being previously defeated. This can be a source of frustration if you’re itching to take on yourself, but instead of waiting in the boss area, keep an eye on your server’s world chat to get an idea of when he’s likely to be available to fight again. . Frostfire Dragon is a popular world boss in the RPG, so you should have no problem finding a team to help you kill it once you has reappeared
How to get to the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon
The easiest way to get to the Eagle’s Nest is to join a team that is currently being recruited to take on the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon. Regardless, joining a team should be your top priority, as he’s an exceptionally tough world boss, and taking him on is only guaranteed to be a quick defeat. However, as part of a team, you also gain the useful ability to teleport directly to your party leader. You can simply wait until they have reached the Eagles’ Nest before teleporting directly to them.
Alternatively, you can reach the Eagle’s Nest by going through the orange portal that floats in the sky above the skeletal remains located just south of the Rusty Iron Camp. The obvious way to get to the portal is by sliding off the cliff that overlooks the half-buried ribcage, but if you’d rather not climb the cliff to get to it, follow the path to the right and keep an eye out for a bunch of rocks that emit a strange red glow. Destroy it to access the hidden portal inside. This portal will teleport you to a nearby floating platform. Defeat the four Treasure Guards waiting to ambush you, then use your jetpack to glide to the portal.
Regardless of which method you choose to reach the Tower of Fantasy Frostfire Interdimensional Dragon’s lair, be sure to activate the space rift on the raised platform directly in front of it. This allows you to fast travel to the Eagle’s Nest when you want to fight him in the future.
How to defeat the Interdimensional Ice Fire Dragon
The interdimensional dragon Frostfire doesn’t have legs, so don’t expect it to land once you’ve caught its eye. Even your most powerful melee simulacrums like King or Samir won’t be of much use during this fight. Instead, you must rely on your Fantasy Tower ranged weapons to deal consistent damage. Shiro’s Chakram of the Seas, Tsubasa’s Ice Wind Arrow, and Samir’s Dual EM Stars work exceptionally well in this encounter.
The interdimensional dragon Frostfire moves from platform to platform over the course of the fight, making your jetpack relic essential to reach it and minimize the risk of missing a jump and plummeting to your death. If you’re hesitant to go with a secondary relic, the Type V Armor or Missile Barrage relics can also provide additional damage if needed, though their long cooldowns restrict the number of times you can activate them during the fight.
At close range, Frostfire Dragon’s moveset consists of a tail whip and laser beam, both of which can be avoided by executing a perfect dodge to activate Phantasia. His ranged attacks consist of two different missile barrages. The first is a series of guided missiles fired one after another. Taking damage from a single homing missile will stun you long enough to ensure any additional incoming missiles hit you, so it’s imperative that you focus all of your attention on avoiding them. The second missile barrage is an area of effect, indicated by the massive red circle on the ground. Again, be careful to avoid them at all costs.
Once the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon takes enough damage, it collapses to the ground. This is the perfect opportunity to unleash your high-impact melee weapons, as well as any close-range blast abilities you charged up during the previous phase.
Our last tip applies to every Tower of Fantasy world boss encounter, but it’s especially important for the Frostfire Dragon. Make sure you have a dedicated healer on your team and at least one support healer in your own weapon composition.
