Thymesia is a challenging game, so it’s good that you have plenty of opportunities to level up your character. You’ll always want to make sure you’re prepared for the multitude of powerful enemies and imposing boss fights that stand in your way, and properly distributing your stats is often the key to victory.
Thymesia only has three stats to level up, so you can upgrade them evenly throughout the early part of the game. But if you want to maximize your effectiveness later on, you can decide to trade some extra health for more damage or gain some extra energy to use plague weapons. However, to do so, you’ll need to respect, but the item required to do so can only be obtained one way.
how to respect
In order to respect your stat points in Thymesia, you will need to get your hands on an item called the Forgotten Feather. These are only received by defeating bosses at the end of levels, so you’ll have a very limited number of them throughout your journey unless you go back and farm bosses for extra drops. Because of this, he is cautious and aware of how he is assigning points to him so that he doesn’t have to do too many unnecessary tasks.
You will receive your first Forgotten Feather after defeating the first big boss in the game, at which point you will unlock the ability to respect. Simply select “Use Forgotten Feather” while resting anywhere in the game, and it will reset your level and all of your attributes, allowing you to completely rework your build as you see fit.
