See more than what others have seen
Developer Sorath burst onto the scene in 2016 with the arcade first-person shooter. devil daggers. Now the studio is back with another bizarre shooter, possibly with even more mind-blowing action in hyper demon.
hyper demon launches today on PC via Steam, for $14.99. As the label advertises, it’s about slaying demons in a world like no other. And, apparently, from a view like no other either.
The faster you kill the demons in hyper demon, the more difficult the game becomes. But your score also increases more and more. There is, apparently, an end. The question is, can you get there?
Very similar devil daggers, hyper demon It has minimal controls. Collecting gems will allow players to upgrade their abilities or charge up and execute massive super moves.
The trippy effect you see on screen is what developer Sorath describes as “innovative spherical projection,” which gives the player a wide peripheral view without pinching or shrinking the center of the screen. It is really something to see on the move. And it allows fields of vision that extend up to 180 degrees.
Along with that, the game it also has a holographic rear sight overlay. Basically, you can have complete 360-degree awareness, if you can learn to visually analyze all the chaos going on in the field.
With the devil inside
devil daggers It was definitely a memorable experience from 2016. It had a dark and intense atmosphere, taking the general concept of being a demon shooting magic daggers from your fingers in a frantic arena shooter.
His images were particularly wild, so it’s great to see hyper demon keep pushing this in almost surreal places. With a surprise release as well, this is a nice Monday morning surprise for people who love visually unique arena shooters.
