The Zenbook Pro range is a rather sexy proposal from ASUS: the manufacturer highlights creation-oriented laptops, but also towards gaming. With the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED and ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 14 OLEDit offers two new slot machines Windows 11 which can make everyone agree.

ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED, ergonomics

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is aimed at content creators who want to equip themselves with a versatile laptop PC. The machine is equipped witha 16-inch touchscreen in 16:10 formatdisplaying an image resolution of 3840 x 2400 pixels. ASUS announces a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 (OLED requires), 100% coverage of the colors defined in the DCI-P3 space and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The screen is certified VESA Display HDR True Black 500and it is validated by Pantone.

Comfort is therefore at the rendezvous for the screen, and this is also the case for the grip, since its keyboard can tilt 7 degrees to enhance its ergonomics. By the way, the use of this feature allows toincrease airflow by 30%, for better ventilation of the laptop. On the sound side, we find six speakers (two tweeters and four woofers) designed by ASUS in collaboration with Harman Kardon. Dolby Atmos is supported.

The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED will be available in the third quarter of 2022, starting at €2,999.

ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED, to see double

For its part, the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is equipped witha 14.5-inch 120Hz HDR OLED touchscreen in 16:10 aspect ratiodisplaying a definition of 2880 x 1800 pixels. He also has certification VESA Display HDR True Black 500 and Pantone validation, and covers 100% of the colors defined in the DCI-P3 space.

As its name suggests, this portable PC integrates a second 12.7-inch OLED screen which sits above its keyboard. It tilts at 12° for optimal tactile use. Here too, the promise ofbetter ventilation (+38%) is appropriate. It is a machine that is designed to adapt to creation, in particular anything visual. This is a more compact version of the previous Zenbook Pro Duo in 15.6-inch format.
