Game News Iron Man: Marvel’s superhero in a blistering new Unreal Engine 5 demo
As Epic Games’ engine, the Unreal Engine 5, prepares to celebrate its first anniversary, technological demonstrations using this powerful development tool are multiplying. Highlighted by the superb Matrix Awakens demo, it never ceases to reveal its incredible potential and is regularly the subject of stunning performances. After the photo-realistic Japanese train station giving a glimpse of the games of the future, it is a new Marvel hero who offers himself a passage through the UE5.
As explained in the intro, the engine of Epic Games, the Unreal Engine 5, had made an impression thanks to the mind-blowing demo of The Matrix Awakens. Armed with this technological showcase, amateur developers then had fun integrating Spiderman (and Superman) in the ultra-realistic city of Megacity. This time, it’s up to another MCU superhero to take advantage of the crowded streets of this great digital city.
IRON MAN IN THE MATRIX AWAKENS DEMO
Created by Aaron Wayne Morse, this new visual demonstration of the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 offers players the opportunity to embody the very valiant Iron Man. The designer took the time to model this good old Tony Stark dressed in his famous armor. When the character moves on the ground, you can hear his muffled footsteps and the noises of the suit. Users can also harness its propulsion and soar to the heights of Megacity. The rendering is excellent and the short video edited for the occasion gives an interesting overview of what a future Iron Man game could give.
Downloadable for free, the demo is currently inaccessible. When you go to the link to retrieve it, a message indicates that the download quota has been reached. We’ll let you know if it clears up during the day.
