Nintendo is hosting a Kirby 30th Anniversary concert and you can watch it from anywhere in the world.
After originally being announced in March 2022, nintendo of america (opens in a new tab) has now revealed that Kirby’s upcoming 30th anniversary concert will be available to watch online. The event will be held on August 11 at 6pm in Tokyo, Japan, but luckily for fans from other parts of the world, the show will be streamed live via Youtube (opens in a new tab) a 2am PDT / 5am EDT / 10am BST In the same day.
Don’t worry if you’re not up in the wee hours of the morning to catch Kirby’s performance, though, as Nintendo has also revealed that it plans to upload a video archive of the anniversary concert for fans to view on a date. later. The account also let fans know that the performance will only be in Japanese and “will not have simultaneous interpretation into other languages.”

If you’re a die-hard Kirby fan, it’s definitely worth tuning in or at least seeing the concert at a later date. According to the official website of the event (opens in a new tab), the performance will feature 35 musicians performing an original mix of songs from the series in a big band style and across a variety of genres. Not only this, but the pink spot will also appear via a large LED monitor on site.
In other Kirby news, Nintendo recently revealed a new Kirby game out of the blue. The competitive eating game Kirby’s Dream Buffet will be released “this summer” and will see up to four players race around a field as multi-colored Kirbys, picking strawberries along the way. Considering we’re already in the month of August, there’s probably not much else to look forward to for this healthy game.
