Announced at the start of the year, LEGO Brawls is getting closer to its release date, which it has also unveiled in a brand new beautiful trailer. Let’s watch the program together, below.
LE(t’s)GO
Smash Bros. fighting games are now commonplace and many developers have tried the experience. We can cite PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale at the beginning of the last decade or, more recently, Ubisoft’s Brawlhalla, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl last year or the very recent MultiVersus: it will soon be LEGO’s turn to claim its share of the pie.
LEGO Brawls – that’s his sweet nickname – was announced four months ago and today, he specifies his arrival with the help of a trailer concocted for the occasion. The release is therefore set for September 2. on a whole host of media: PC (via Steam), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Apple Arcade. There should be something for everyone.

Create to better destroy
It’s to be expected with a LEGO game: this one will focus on creation and customization. We can thus design our own fighters from A to Z, from weapons to accessories and clothing, with a host of items to unlock while playing. To be very precise, Red Games promises us no less than, hold on tight, 77,289,215,065,920 figurine customization options available as well as 2,737,000 equipment customization options. Only that.

The game will also include many levels from the LEGO universe: the Jurassic, Ninjago, Monkie kid, the Middle Ages or the cowboys, fans should not be out of place and besides, players will have to vote at the start of the game for their favorite arena. Of course, the lucky girl will be deployed for combat. Some elements of the maps will even be interactive: it will be for example “possible to control the T-Rex in Jurassic World or the combat robot in Ninjago”we are told.

Game modes
In terms of game modes, LEGO Brawls will allow you to play online with random allies and opponents on different platforms, or to opt for private games. There will be modes focused on teamplay, pure fighting, and item collecting:
- Checkpoint : 4v4 gameplay to capture and hold a control point.
- Collection: players or teams must collect as many items as possible, scattered across the map.
- Battle Royal: every man for himself, where the winner is the one who eliminates the most opponents
- Free fight: a battle royale where the last one standing wins the game. Each elimination restores a small amount of health.
- Local : private games that can be hosted or joined for 4v4 matches.
specify that LEGO Brawls is fully cross-play. Appointment on September 2, 2022 to see what the project has in store.
