The Longueuil agglomeration police department (SPAL) wants to arrest a 21-year-old suspect who may be in British Columbia.
Samuel Bagdan Wilfrid-Messier is the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant for his involvement in an attempted murder that dates back to November 7.
The suspect had repeatedly stabbed a customer of a McDonald’s restaurant on Taschereau Boulevard, in the Greenfield Park area.
The suspect is wanted for attempted murder, aggravated assault, death threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of conditions.
A white-skinned man with multiple tattoos, Wilfrid-Messier is 1.68m tall, weighs 55kg, and has brown hair and eyes.
He wears two earrings on his right earlobe, black pants, a khaki green coat and an orange hooded sweater, police said.
