It was following a tweet from the official Lost Ark account that the date for the next update was announced. This will bring content, including a new class that you might like a lot if you like… cards!
After a massive update on June 30, the developers of Lost Ark are not stopping there, and this time announce the next update a little more in advance. Let’s see together for when the latter is planned, and above all, what it is supposed to bring to the game!

A date for the July update
A trailer of a few seconds, simple and effective. It is therefore on July 20 that the next update of Lost Ark will be deployed on the servers. It will obviously be necessary to expect maintenance just before. The complete patch notes for the latter is not yet available, however, the developers have already communicated some of the content planned for this update… including a new class!

New Advanced Mage Class: Arcanist
A new class will therefore be available: The Arcanist! She imbues special cards with her magic, and uses them in various ways. Whether offensively, by projecting his cards and invoking powerful magic attacks, or protecting his allies by granting team effects, we can say that the arcanist has more than one trick up his sleeve, and this whatever the situation. Note that it has a mechanism that uses RNG, namely chance: Its special ability “Deck of cards”, the card gauge is loaded, and a card with random stats appears in the deck. You can then fire it and inflict devastating damage in varying degrees.
Valtan Legion Raid: “Infernal” Difficulty
Do you like difficulty? You will love the “hellish” difficulty of Lost Ark. This is to prove that you are among the best of the best in Archésia, and to gain prestige. Thus, no normal rewards like for example equipment, materials… Here, the Infernal mode rewards highlight your victory, with titles, achievements, fortress structures and more! Thus, a new trading system will be added to the game to access a variety of prestigious rewards by sweeping all your opponents.
It should be noted that in the “Infernal” mode, the portal progression system will not be active, so you will not be able to do half of the raid, and come back later in the week. So it’s a one-shot! Also, this mode does not count against your weekly Legion raid attempt limit. You can therefore play Valtan in normal/hard mode and in Infernal mode during the same week! You will also need a minimum gear level of 1445 to try out this new content!
Abyssal Dungeon (Challenge)
Like recent Guardian (Challenge) Raids that have Balance of Harmony applied to stall your power on your opponent, Abyssal (Challenge) Dungeons will work the same way in a new weekly activity. And because the challenge is bigger, the rewards are better. Different refinement gear selection pouches (similar to Guardian Raids (Challenge), you can choose the option closest to your item level) will alternate among the rewards, and many cards are up for grabs or win in loot auctions at the end of the dungeon. You can play each Abyss Dungeon once per week (per roster).
