Atlus has had to clarify that there will be no new games during the concert that they will celebrate in October.
Over the years, the Persona saga has been making itself known to more and more audiences with an increasingly convincing JRPG proposal, so there are not a few who are waiting for a new game in the franchise from the hand of Atlus. Persona 5 was originally released in 2017, so why not dream up 6?
That is what many fans had done in recent weeks, seeing how their hopes grew much more with the confirmation of the Persona Super Live P-Sound Wish 2022a special concert that will be held on October 8 and 9 in Japan and where several songs from the popular soundtrack of the series will be performed live.
Atlus has denied possible announcements at an October eventHowever, this week there has been bad news. Due to the fact that the desire to wait for a presentation of a new installment had increased enormously, Atlus has been forced to clarify on its official website that no video games will be announced during the event.
“There are no plans to announce any new video game installments at this live show,” they wrote. “Our goal is to make a great live performance that it pleases all those who can come to see it, and we are preparing with all our desire every day. Please wait calmly.”
Therefore, fans of the franchise will have to settle for the release of Persona 5 Royal on PC, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. during this month of octoberalthough it is also planned that previous games such as Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable will land on platforms from 2023.
