Absolutely not so sweet Marie

If you’ve been pins and needles waiting to find out who would be the final character of the skull girls Season 1 pass, you can drop it and rejoice. During the opening night of Evo 2022, a trailer was released revealing that Marie will become a playable character. Launch in 2023 for both skullgirls second encore Y Mobile SkullgirlsMarie’s arrival on the character select screen comes more than 10 years later skull girls first released on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. She follows Annie of the Stars, Umbrella, and Black Dahlia to join the cast, the latter of whom is still in alpha.

There is not much to gain from that advance, but I am sure that the news is more than enough for those skull girls fans who have stayed with the game for the last 10 years. As an occasional fan of fighters, I have to commend Future Club, Autumn Games, and Hidden Variable for keeping this game and its community going for so long. Other developers would have already thrown in the towel and moved on to a sequel.
