Game News Marvel’s Avengers: For the release of Thor 4 Love and Thunder, Jane Foster becomes the God of Thunder
Many rumors indicated the arrival of a brand new character for Marvel’s Avengers… Today, the rumors are becoming reality as Jane Foster officially arrives in the multiplayer game.
A new heroine joins the cast
It’s been many months now since Marvel’s Avengers received an update worthy of its name. Indeed, the last update of the game which added a character dates from November 30, 2021 for owners of a PlayStation 4 and a PlayStation 5 or from August 17 of the same year for other gaming platforms (PC, Xbox One , Xbox Series X|S and Google Stadia). But today, the multiplayer game that offers participants to challenge the forces of AIM by taking control of the Avengers is back in full swing.
On July 13, Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth installment of the adventures of the God of Thunder signed Disney will land in dark rooms. To accompany the feature film, Marvel’s Avengers therefore decides to offer a brand new playable character: after Black Panther, Spider-Man or even Hawkeye, it is therefore Jane Foster’s turn to join the already well-staffed cast.
Mighty Thor delivers the finishing blow

As you can see by watching the long video available above, Jane Foster will therefore take over from Thor by donning the costume of Mighty Thor. Available now, this new heroine (delivered with her Battle Pass and her set of costumes) is not just a simple copy of the original God of Thunder, since she handles Mjolnir, the famous emblematic hammer, differently. Indeed, even if she takes some movements from her mentor, the new playable heroine can also trigger lightning after a series of combos or even create shock waves that send her opponents waltzing into the background. Note also that she can also multiply the damage she does by directly electrifying her hammer or that she can make her hammer a remote-controlled throwing object. As you can see, the new character arrives with his own talent tree.
Mighty Thor is available now on Marvel’s Avengers, on all platforms thanks to the launch of update 2.5. The latter is of course accompanied by some adjustments and corrections and new costumes for the heroes.
