mrs wonder‘s third episode might be the best yet as it manages to pack in a ton of story, most of which was new to fans and just loosely pulled from the comics, as well as some awesome standalone scenes. . At the top of the list is an unexpectedly musical action sequence that offers the best use of a classic ’80s song in a streaming series since, well, Strange things last month.

The scene in question occurs when the Clandestine, a group of djinn who want to use Kamala’s bracelet to return to their own dimension, rob the wedding of our heroine’s brother, Aamir. As Iman Vellani’s leading lady flees the scene and her pursuers chase after her, we get an epic needle drop moment as Jon Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” begins to play. And the fans can’t get enough of it.
Dammit.
It’s one of those songs that makes you want to punch the air.

More evidence, if the fans needed it, that mrs wonder is the best MCU show to date.
