This Minecraft build is an amazing piece of work that has taken more time than most people will spend on the sandbox game. In total, this city-building masterpiece apparently took 7,000 hours to put together, which works out to just over 291 days of work and, frankly, makes us want to take a nap.
One of the great things about the best Minecraft builds is that they can be awesome for a whole host of different reasons. Some seek scale above all else, which is why there are people who try to recreate the entire universe in Minecraft. Others are looking for functionality, and that means you can play Minecraft Wordle if you want. With so much great stuff out there, it can be hard to stand out.
While the build itself is certainly impressive here, it’s hard not to be impressed by the sheer time commitment of this one. The build was done on the 2b2t server, or 2builders2tools, which is actually one of the oldest Minecraft servers, which is also pretty impressive. However, it’s not about age; it’s just about taking it all in, which you can do by watching the video.
We’re not sure we’ve ever pulled something like this out of one of the best city-building games out there; we just don’t have the patience. Still, it’s nice to be able to see everything fit into the video, even if the music is a bit disconcerting.
