Game news Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak: new monster and location, the expansion delivers very nervous gameplay
In a few months, a new breath will refresh the already generous content of Monster Hunter Rise on Nintendo Switch and PC: this one bears the sweet name of Sunbreak and proves to be a high-caliber extension. Here are some new insights.
A muscular adventure
If you haven’t already had enough with Monster Hunter Rise’s simple (but broad) content, rejoice: Capcom is working on a very big extension called Sunbreak and this one should terribly inflate the lifespan. It’s hard to complain about it and to tell the truth, it is already eagerly awaited by a very solid community, which can easily be counted in the millions of players. Yes, we remember monster hunter is now one of the most lucrative franchises of the Osaka firm, just that.
In short, Sunbreak will take us to new lands like the city of Elgado, face new creatures like the unfriendly dragon Malzeno and get our hands on a lot of new weapons and equipment, always alone or with others. Today, the developers present us through two gameplay videos part of the content: one to show off the Citadel, a new environment which will include, as its name suggests, a gigantic medieval castle, caught between several different biomes. Here is a little preview.
Beware of Garangolm
In a visibly generous mood, Capcom is also releasing a second gameplay video with a specific objective: to give us a glimpse of Garangolm. The latter is none other than a completely new monster, a sort of giant gorilla with an apparent horn and a fiery temper, obviously not to be taken lightly. Being several to face it will not be too much.
If you’re dying to try these challenges for yourself or just curious about extending the Monster Hunter Rise experience (which is excellent, admittedly)know that this huge Sunbreak DLC will be available on June 30, 2022.
