Classified mode in multiverse will be available to all players on August 9, 2022, which is the game’s official release date. Players will need to unlock it if they haven’t done so during the open beta period.

Reach level 20 on your account

Players who had the opportunity to play during the beta test have probably noticed that although there is a ranked option in the Play menu, it is not yet active.

The developer has disabled ranked mode until the official release of the game. You will need to reach level 20 on your account in order to enter ranked mode. Open Beta players will likely keep their progress on the official launch and will be able to play Ranked mode right away.

However, all new players who download multiverse after August 9th they will have to level up their account to level 20. After that, the ranked mode option is activated in the Play menu.

Here’s what you can do to quickly level up your account:

• Grind XP and levels in the “Cooperative vs. AI” mode.
• Double your XP gains by using Rested XP mechanic.
• Complete daily quests and seasonal milestones in the “battle pass“Menu.

All three options will get you closer to level 20, which unlocks ranked mode for you.

Unfortunately, there are no official ranked rules yet, but many hope it will have a reasonable matchmaking system with leaderboards and the ability to switch characters during ranked races.
