MultiVersus will be at EVO 2022
Currently still in development, MultiVersus will be launching in open beta next month. Before its official release in free-to-play in a few monthsthe game will be highlighted during a tournament on the occasion of the EVO. Indeed, the famous versus fighting competition in Las Vegas, the Evolution Championship Series 2022 will offer a MultiVersus tournament on August 5 and 6with the key $100,000 cash prize. To promote this future tournament, Warner is releasing new images of the game, highlighting the games played by professional players.

Indeed, this video shows two professional players, Spooky and Apology Manand two players who reached the top of the game’s closed alpha ladder, Leviathan and Brokkr. ApologyMan plays Tom & Jerry, teamed up with Brokkr who play Superman. Opposite, a team bringing together Sammy and Vera from Scooby-Doo, embodied respectively by Spooky and Leviathan. The five parts are commented by Sharpie, AJAX and IFC Yipes. A good way to see what high level play will look likewith some characters from the catalog.
MultiVersus will be released in open beta in July on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
