Game news Need for Speed Mobile: the game is revealed with gameplay on the run, a sparkling video
Even if Need for Speed hasn’t been going very well lately, the franchise is preparing to come back in force and on a number of platforms: in this case, it’s a question of a new mobile version… whose first images just leaked.
Need for Speed Heat, but on mobile
This year will mark the great return of Need for Speed, and not by just anyone: Criterion Games is in charge, the studio behind the legendary Burnout. While waiting to see what this mysterious project will look like, it seems that Electronic Arts has other plans for its flagship saga, especially for mobile.
It was on Reddit, very recently, that the information fell: a new Need for Speed Mobile is in preparation. This one is made jointly with Tencent, the Chinese video game giant, and a technically impressive first gameplay video is also available. at this address (or on YouTube below). The title would run on Unreal Engine 4 and would be based on the Need For Speed Heat map, which took place in a fictional reproduction of Miami.
The race, just the race
The author of the leak also allowed himself some additional information: the game would not include any story or chases with the police, only traditional tests to be chained (at least for now). In terms of the cars present, we already know that there will be the McLaren F1, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJR and the Lamborghini Gallardo, which we can precisely see in the leak.
A day/night system is also present : now remains to be seen if it will have an influence, other than aesthetic, on the game.
Alas, we have no date to put in our mouths. We remind you in any case that a port of the first Need for Speed Underground has already been formalized on mobile recently : definitely, the saga is indeed back with very specific objectives of conquest.
