The Fire Emblem tactical RPG series returns early next year on Switch with the new Fire Emblem Engage game.
In the lead up to its release, Intelligent Systems and Nintendo have been slowly sharing more images and information about the characters and gameplay in this new installment. The latest news focuses on the new monk character Framme, the youngest twin sister of the clan.
Here’s the translation (via the Fire Emblem Serenes Forest fan website), including a look at her in battle:
“Framme (Sayaka Senbongi) is a 33rd generation Dragon Guardian who protects the Divine Dragon in the Land of Lythos. She is the younger twin sister of the Clan and is more determined and lively compared to her brother.”
And in case you missed it, here’s a bit about the Mage Clan, which was revealed last week. Serene Forest explains how the final name of this character has not yet been fixed. ‘Cramme’ is the site’s own translation:
“For the record, we don’t know what her name is in English. In the Japanese version, her name is Kuran (Clan, etc.). But considering her sister was renamed from Furan (Fran) to Framme, I tried to do something. Similary.”
And here is the character description:
“Clan (Kōhei Amasaki) is a 33rd generation Dragon Guardian who protects the Divine Dragon in the Land of Lythos, along with Vander. He is Framme’s older twin brother and was by Alear’s side when they woke up. A gentile priest who serves, and is also a fan of, Alear.”
These characters are the continuation of the reveal of a high-ranking knight/paladin named Vander and the game’s protagonist, Alear. Marth and Celica also return. You can learn a bit more about these other characters in our previous coverage here on Nintendo Life:
