Not only heroes can change their appearance in surveillance 2, but also their weapons. Blizzard offers a gold version of every weapon in the game, which can be purchased with one of four available in-game currencies.

Unlock competitive play
New surveillance 2 players will need to unlock a competitive game mode to start winning Competitive Points (CP)which is the only eligible currency in the game that allows you to buy golden weapons.
To unlock competitive play, new players must Win 50 matches in Quick Play mode.which may seem boring but it’s not totally crazy.
the return Supervision players will have competitive play already unlocked, if they managed to reach at least level 25 in the first game.
Each matchup in Competitive mode will bring the following results:
- 1 win = 15 pcs
- 1 draw = 5 pcs
As you can see, if you lose a ranked matchup, you won’t win anything, so try to win as many as you can, as you need 3000 CP to unlock only one golden weapon. This means that you need to win 200 ranked matchups to earn the amount required for a single weapon.
Fortunately, Blizzard also rewards competitive players with additional earnings at the end of the season based on their ranking:
- grandmaster rank (Top 500) = 1,750 CP
- master rank = 1200 pcs
- diamond rank = 750 pcs
- platinum rank = 500 pcs
- gold rank = 250 pcs
- silver rank = 125 pcs
- bronze rank = 65 pcs
Buy golden weapons
Once you have been able to accumulate 3000 CP, you can buy a golden weapon by following these steps:
- Go to the main menu.
- Select “Heroes“menu and choose a hero.
- To go “weapons” tab.
- Select “Golden” version.
- Press “Purchase” to confirm.
You can repeat this for each and every weapon in the game, as they all have gold versions.
