The incredible true story of Selbee is at the center of Jerry and Marge get big, and it’s enough to make you want to brush up on your math skills and start looking for loopholes in the lottery. Jerry Selbee found a loophole in a Massachusetts lottery game, leading him and his wife to win millions and use the money forever.
The official synopsis of the film is as follows:
“Jerry and Marge get big is inspired by the remarkable true story of retiree Jerry Selbee (played by Bryan Cranston), who discovers a math loophole in the Massachusetts lottery and, with the help of his wife, Marge (played by Annette Bening), wins millions and uses the money to revive his small Michigan town.”
David Frankel is directing the film which also stars Rainn Wilson, Anna Camp, Larry Wilmore, Ann Hamada, Uly Schlesinger, Michael McKean and Jake McDorman, Deadline reports.
