Paul WS Anderson is already informing the world about the events of his next project, in the lost landswhich will have two powers of action: demonic residentby Milla Jovovich and Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista. The director has teased that the two will go head-to-head in battle, which is sure to heighten the anticipation of fans.
In a conversation with Variety celebrating the 25th anniversary of event horizonAnderson revealed that filming will begin on November 14 and praised his longtime partner, Jovovich and Bautista, who he is very excited to be working with.
“We started filming on November 14, so I am actively involved in preparing for the movie at the moment. They are Milla and Dave Bautista, who are going to be incredible. Seeing them go toe-to-toe is going to be fabulous.”
When asked if they were going to fight each other, the director agreed, stating that it was pretty obvious, adding that the story will be “dark and twisted”.
“Oh yeah, I mean you can’t have Milla and Dave in a movie and not have them try. It’s an adaptation of a George RR Martin story so you know it’s going to be dark and twisted and have wonderful characters. Because that’s what George does.”
in the lost lands will follow a sorceress sent by a queen to the desert to find a magical power that will help her fulfill her love. A homeless man helps her search for her, and together, they encounter various mystical creatures along the way.
