Potion Permit is an exciting Stardew Valley-themed indie game due out later this year for consoles and PC.
Just below, you can watch the latest trailer for Potion Permit, released earlier this week to commemorate the release date announcement. The game stars a protagonist who brews potions on his way to heal the residents of the small town of Moonbury, no matter what kind of affairs assail them.
To do this, they will need to collect resources from the surrounding environment, which can be obtained by fighting animals such as bears, as well as by using the nature around them. Then, they must take what they have gathered to their potions workshop and prepare the cocktail themselves.
This seems to take the form of a tantalizing minigame, where players must rearrange different ingredients into unique formations to form the perfect cure. Brew the correct potion after analyzing a Moonbury resident to figure out what’s wrong with them, and you’ll successfully cure them.
Outside of this though, there’s a whole world to explore in Potion Leave. The bustling town of Moonbury obviously takes center stage in the new trailer, but it definitely looks like there will be forests, beaches, and other areas outside of town to explore in the game.
You don’t even have to wait that long until you can get your hands on Potion Permit, as it’s set to release later this year on September 22, and it’s coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms alike. In fact, there’s even a demo right now on Steam. (opens in a new tab)if you want to test the action before the full launch later this year.
