Ubisoft has announced some tweaks to the Rainbow Six Siege Year 7 roadmap. Some of the key features that were originally planned for the multiplayer game’s third season this year have been pushed back to season four, but another map will be joining the ranked/unranked bracket to help soften the blow.
The Rainbow Six team hasn’t revealed the map that will join the competitive map pool in Season 3, but says it’s “a map you’ve played before,” was part of an event, and has never been included in the game. competitive group before. Players believe this effectively narrows it down to the Road to the Six Invitational Stadium map, though that could mean either version that has appeared in the game to date.
Other features that had been planned for the third season were delayed until the fourth season. These include Ranking 2.0, restrictions on voice chat for players who are verbally abusive on the microphone, and the beta version of the reputation score screen.
However, there are some changes coming with the Season 3 update, including the addition of Impact EMP Grenades to various Operator loadouts.
