Original article [Tue 13th Sep, 2022 03:45 BST]: Even though Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are only a few months away from release, The Pokémon Company is still hosting “limited time” events for Pokémon Sword and Shield.
The latest announcement is a special in-store promotion taking place at GameStop in the US and Canada, and EB Games in Australia and New Zealand. Players will be able to head to the store and receive a special code card for a Shiny Eternatus. This event runs from September 18 a October 1st.
To redeem Shiny Eternatus, you will need to launch your copy of the game, select Mystery Gift from the menu, select Get with Code/Password, enter it, and then the gift will arrive. Make sure to save too! Here’s a bit about Shiny Eternatus:
“Shiny Eternatus will appear at level 100 with a timid nature and the pressure ability. He knows the Dynamax Cannon, Eternabeam, Sludge Bomb, and Flamethrower moves, so he should be a powerful addition to your team.”
