Capcom puts the Winters Expansion on sale on PC and consoles from October 28 of this year.
In just over a month, Resident Evil Village receives its main expansion, and with it comes new story content starring Rose Winters, Ethan’s daughter. This story, under the name Shadow of Roseis part of an Expansion of the Winters that will bring more things, but it is this additional chapter that arouses the most interest.
Completing it will take about 4 hoursTherefore, it is not surprising that in an interview with Golden News Japan, the director Kento Kinoshita have been asked about a possible confirmation of the duration of this episode, making it clear that it will be one of the most extensive story expansions in the saga. “The overall volume is about four hours“, and there are also other scenes available”, comments the Japanese.
As in almost all titles that are somewhat challenging, this duration depends on the player’s skill and the degree of difficulty. Although we have already seen that the trailer showed Lady Dimitrescu’s Castle, we will visit more locationssince we must not forget that Shadows of Rose will give rise to distorted scenarios.
In order to get the gauntlet on this new chapter of history we will have to get hold of the Winters Expansion (which will say goodbye to the family), available from October 28, 2022 along with the third person perspective and an additional Mercenary mode with new playable characters and scenarios.
In addition, Kento Kinoshita himself confirmed that at Capcom they toyed with the possibility of making a DLC starring Chris Redfield, but in the end they preferred to focus on Rose and the discovery of her strange powers.
